ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ, ಮೇ 27 : ಪಿಕಪ್ ಚಾಲಕನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ಹಾಡಹಗಲೇ ಬೈಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಬರ್ಬರವಾಗಿ ಕಡಿದು ಕೊಲೆಗೈದ ಘಟನೆ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕುರಿಯಾಳ ಸಮೀಪದ ಇರಾಕೋಡಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಕೊಳತ್ತಮಜಲು ನಿವಾಸಿ ಪಿಕಪ್ ಚಾಲಕ ರಹೀಂ ಕೊಲೆಯಾದ ಯುವಕ ಎನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಇರಾಕೋಡಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯೊಂದರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮರಳು ಅನ್ ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಬೈಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಕೃತ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಹೀಂ ಜೊತೆಗಿದ್ದ ಹನೀಫ್ ಎಂಬಾತನಿಗೂ ತಲವಾರು ದಾಳಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂಟ್ವಾಳ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪೋಲೀಸರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
In a shocking incident reported from Kambodi Ira Kodi near Bantwal in Mangalore, a man was killed and another seriously injured in a brutal talwar attack by miscreants. The deceased has been identified as Rahim. According to sources, the incident took place while the victims were unloading sand from a pickup van. Miscreants arrived on a bike and launched a sudden and violent attack on the duo with talwars. Rahim succumbed to his injuries at the spot, while the other individual sustained severe wounds and was rushed to the hospital.
