“Board Exams Made Easier: AI Shikshak Breaks Down NCERT’s New Question Scoring System”

Mangaluru: Yaticorp India Pvt Ltd has introduced an updated version of AI Shikshak, a WhatsApp-based learning assistant designed to help school and pre-university students prepare for their board exams. The platform aims to make academic support more accessible by offering clear, syllabus-aligned explanations of NCERT concepts at any hour of the day.
AI Shikshak is built for learners from Class 5 to II PUC following CBSE, NCERT and Karnataka State syllabi. One of its key goals is to support students’ varied learning habits. While some prefer early-morning study hours and others revise late at night, academic help during these times is often limited. The AI assistant functions as a round-the-clock guide, providing instant explanations, repeated clarifications and structured academic support whenever required.
To help students revise efficiently, the platform provides chapter summaries, key points and question–answer sets designed in an exam-friendly format. According to the company, these features allow learners to cover topics faster, retain concepts better and strengthen their readiness for board examinations.
Since AI Shikshak operates entirely on WhatsApp, students need no additional app or high-speed internet. Even a basic mobile phone is sufficient to access step-by-step solutions, board-pattern answers, MCQs, quizzes and subject-wise question banks for SSLC and PUC. This ease of access makes the platform especially useful for students in rural areas or households with limited digital resources.
The company highlights that AI Shikshak differs from general-purpose AI tools, which may provide broad or out-of-syllabus content. Instead, the platform restricts itself to syllabus-specific explanations aligned closely with exam requirements.
Speaking about the launch, Founder and CEO Yatheesha K. S. said that the tool is designed to serve as a reliable support system for students, especially those who study at unconventional hours or lack access to regular tuition.
With its updated features, AI Shikshak aims to address challenges such as inconsistent teaching quality, high tuition fees and the lack of on-demand doubt-clearing—offering students a supplementary learning companion throughout their exam journey.
