Citizens celebrate first day of 2023 across India
With the stroke of midnight, citizens across the globe welcomed the new year 2023 on Sunday.
Indians across the country were seen celebrating the first day of the new year in their unique way on January 1, 2023.
People in large numbers turned up at different places such as temples, malls, and monuments to celebrate the new year.
Indians were seen thronging tourists as well as religious places on the first day of the new year.
Many people took a quick detour to Agra to see the Taj Mahal on the first day of the year on Sunday.
Devotees started their first day of the year on a religious note and visited the Vindhyavasini temple in Mirzapur.
