7.8 magnitude earthquake kills thousands in Turkey, Syria, leaves trail of destruction
Over 1,200 people were killed after a powerful earthquake hit southeast Turkey and Syria early Monday. Damage was reported across several Turkish provinces, and rescue teams were sent from around the country.
